D'Addario 9493 Spector Violin Mute

The D'Addario Spector Violin Mute is the ideal solution for reducing volume during practice sessions, quieter performances, or passages requiring a muted sound. Designed by Fred Spector, a 45-year veteran violinist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, this compact mute fits seamlessly between the A and D strings. Simply slide it up over the bridge to engage—when not in use, slide it back down and leave it on your instrument without affecting playability or tone quality.
