Description
Scientific Name: Neocaridina denticulata (synonym: Neocaridina davidi)
Common Name: Orange Sushi Shrimp
Adult Size: 2.5–3 cm (1–1.2 inches)
Life Expectancy: 1.5 to 2 years in captivity
Habitat: Native to freshwater streams and ponds in Taiwan. Prefers areas with plenty of aquatic plants, moss, and biofilm-covered surfaces.
Tank Requirements
Minimum Tank Size: 10 liters (2.5 gallons) — ideally 20 liters or more for stability and colony growth

Water Hardness: 4–12 dGH (moderately soft to moderately hard)
Temperament: Peaceful and social. Best kept in groups of 6+ and can cohabitate with other non-aggressive shrimp or nano fish.
